My Thoughts About It:

Essence Cosmetics Gel Eyeliner ' Midnight in Paris ' comes in a small glass jar without any brush or applicator.

The formula is matte and is jet black in color . The texture isnt creamy and dries within seconds so you need to be very quick to work with it. One swipe is enough for a good color and somehow the second layer will give you a patchy look due to its quick drying property.  It stays on my lids for more then 6 hrs , after that it started fading( my lids are super oily) . It hardly stays on my water line just like any other eyeliner (yeah I am that lucky )

Somehow it lasts for maximum six months in the jar once opened and after that the top layer started getting dried . Though you can still use it after scratching the top layer.

The claim is right that its water proof because it need some serious efforts to be wiped off completely .

For its price , i think its a good product if you are an expert in eyeliners because of its fast drying feature .

PROS:

  • Jet black Color
  • water proof
  • completely matte
  • God staying power on top lids
  • Great Value / easily affordable

CONS :

  • Fast drying , which makes it hard to work with
  •  Not good staying power on waterline or below lids.

Would I recommend it :

Yes, great product if you are into fast drying , matte , water proof jet black eyeliners.

Essence Cosmetics Gel Eyeliner ' Midnight in Paris 'comes with a price tag of  around PKR 550
