Kamal Lawn by Zara Shahjahan introduces 15 designs this season, launching March 2013!

[Lahore: 22 February 2013] Leading lifestyle and textile brand So Kamal hosted an exclusive media preview at their flagship store introducing their latest collaborative venture with fashion designer Zara Shahjahan: Kamal Lawn by Zara Shahjahan over tea.

Revealing exclusive collection information, for Kamal Lawn by Zara Shahjahan 2013, the designer draws inspiration from the floral Eastern tradition and vintage Persian aesthetic, to introduce 15 distinct designs, each in two-colour variations with a diverse colour palette consisting of options in vibrant hues as well as more subtle pastel shades. Kamal Lawn by Zara Shahjahan will also offer a diversity of design options with fabric uniquely printed to allow for multiple stitching options through the print complete with chiffon dupattas. A customised design kit will also accompany each print with requisite borders, brooches, laces and embroideries for a complete look. Further, the collection also includes stitched lawn kurtas as tailored by So Kamal available in multiple sizes. The stitched lawn kurtas are priced at PKR 3,000 and unstitched three piece outfits at PKR 4,000 to PKR 5,000.

Kamal Lawn by Zara Shahjahan 2013 is set to launch through two exhibition events on 07th March in Karachi at Dolmen City Mall’s Atrium and on the 12th of March in Lahore at the Flagship So Kamal Store at 10 Q in Gulberg respectively. Kamal Lawn by Zara Shahjahan’s brand ambassador, award winning actress and model Aamina Sheikh will be attending both preview events. These events will be followed by in-store exhibitions on the 13th of March in Faisalabad and Multan at their Flagship Store and in Islamabad at the So Kamal Store in the Centurion Mall on 14th March 2013.

Fashion designer Zara Shahjahan is well renowned for her design philosophy focusing on an aesthetic that is feminine and sophisticated with a signature look which is simple, beautiful and always in vogue. With a background in miniature painting, she is one of Pakistan’s few designers who has the expertise to make her own motifs.

My Thoughts :

I was quite excited to attend my first lawn launch of 2013 and Kamal Lawn by Zara Shahjahan fulfilled my expectations by their amazing designs in lovely pastel colors.

So Kamal offers a range of best lawn prints, dreamy designs and quality fabric. The collection is designed by Zara Shahjahan who is no doubt a great designer as all the designs were not only mouth watering but were very trendy and comfortable as well.

One can see the luxurious blend of pastel colors inspired from the floral Eastern tradition and vintage Persian aesthetic. According to Zara : pink and pastels are going to be a great hit this season .

All the attendees were quite impressed by the designs and the lawn prints .

Erum Kamal and Zara Shahjahan were very warm welcoming throughout the event and the ambiance was just perfect for the amazing lawn collection . I had a great time meeting both the inspiring ladies and was fully convinced by the designs and is so looking forward to get my hands on few of them :)

Also i had the pleasure of having a chit chat over a cup of coffee and some yummy snacks with very sweet friend and a blogger Fakhra .

So , this event was a complete success and all my very best wishes to lovely Erum Kamal and Zara Shahjahan for the success of their lawn .May all their hard work be fully rewarded.
