How to Apply

Gently pump a small amount onto the back of your hand. Apply 3 tiny dots under your eyes with fingertips & blend. Next apply 3 dots on eyelids & blend. Let set, then apply concealers and eye shadows as usual.

My Thoughts About It :

According to Benefit cosmetics , Benefit's Stay Don't Stray is a dual action eye primer that works "360º around the eyes to make concealers and eye shadows stay put. Concealers don't crease, eye shadows stay vibrant and true and “you'll wonder how you ever lived without it". This all over eye primer comes in a "neutral nude shade that is universally flattering". The formula contains good ingredients like Vitamins C&E to combat signs of aging and sodium hyaluronate ( though i don't really know what that is ) to hydrate and fill fine lines.

I was already really impressed by The POREfessional By BENEFIT COSMETICS ( review HERE). so , i was excited to try Benefit's Stay Don't Stray primer.

Well i must say that after carefully observing all the claims ,I'm quite satisfied with the product. It is quite a good primer both for eye shadows and concealers.

I mostly use concealers to hide my dark circles and it really works great to lock it under my eyes for the max hours. Also , I love to apply kajal in my eyes and it helps in preventing my kajal from creasing under my eyes ( big plus point , isn't it ?)The only thing that bothers me is its smell. It smells like pickles ( really oily Asian achaar/pickle ). But thank God , the smell fades away within few seconds.

Without a primer, eye shadow tends to crease on my eyes within few hours as my lids are oily just like my face.But with Benefit’s Stay Don't Stray primer , my eye shadows lasts for 4-6 without creasing or smudging ( during winter season ).Well that’s the max time I wear any eye makeup. It causes shadows or concealers to go on smoothly and best of all it really enhances the color of any eye shadow applied over it ( you can see in the swatches). I agree that Stay Don't Stray doesn't really prevent creasing of eye shadows for longest hours and technically, Benefit doesn't claim that it will.

Benefit's Stay Don't Stray primer comes in a pump that's super easy to use. Stay Don't Stay is a light, neutral beige primer. It blends out effortlessly giving you a very light coverage.

An important fact that you need very little is quite an advantage. You must try to control the amount when it comes to pushing the dispenser, because it tends to be quite generous, but just a little drop is enough for both eyes.I applied it by following the instructions given in the packaging .
