Not many events are planned and executed so beautifully as this one day trip to Shangrila Hotel and Resort Murree by the power girl Mishal (check her insta here).
One one bright sunny Sunday morning , We gathered at the Shangrila rest house Islamabad and the rest of the trip was all planned and arranged for us. Before going any further , I would really like to appreciate the beauty and comfort of their Islamabad rest house as well.
We were warmly welcomed by their staff and our Pr power girl. Our bus left on time and there we were enjoying, chatting, singing and enjoying the company of Islamabad known bloggers(sadly, Humna was missing).
We reached the destination in no time and were wowed by the serene beauty of our surroundings at Shangrila Hotel and Resort Murree, Pakistan.

Shangrila Hotel and Resort Murree is located just before the crowded commercial areas of Murree. The actual Murree where you can still enjoy the beauty of nature with modern day luxuries that too in such a peaceful environment.

The surroundings there were lush green with beautiful exterior and luxuriant interior. Though Murree is like a second home to me but still these views with their tranquil scenery just mesmerised me. So, we decided to take a tour around the resort and do what we are best at. Yup, taking pictures ;)
And hey did I mention that we also had an amazing professional photographer with us who was patiently listened to all our demands and successfully clicked the best pictures. Hashir you are the best! ( check his page here)
After a quick outside tour, we had an amazing Chinese buffet. The food was yummy and the sitting area was so beautiful having complete glass windows around it to enjoy the view with food. Did I mention they have an outstanding outside dine/bone fire area as well?

We ate till we died yup food was that good . From soup to the sweet and sour fish , pasta , Manchurian, eggs fried rice , steaks and even the sweet dishes, the food was deliciously cooked and freshly served.
After having the scrumptious food and conversation with the generous owner, the very humble marketing manager Shangrila Hotel and Resort Murree took us for the rooms tour.
The rooms literally wowed us with their rich and elegant interior. Each room was speaking of high quality of impressiveness and magnificence. The best part, the washrooms were equally impressive with the pure herbal supplies to take care of our skin and hair.

In the end, we got to have few clicks with their management. They are innovating the whole area and are relaunching the resort again.

From newly weds to family functions, business meetings to product launches, pplaygrounds to snooker clubs and even if one wants to unwind from their hectic routine , this place has a lot to offer. Just an hour drive from Islamabad , it has beautiful views, luxurious rooms , scrumptious food and above all the hospitable management to take care of everything. I loved it to bits and definitely recommended!
