The second day of the fashion week
included many versatile designers, the likes of which were Ammar Belal, Akif
Mahmood, Asifa Nabeel and Fahad Hussayn.
The cutest moment of the show was
when Ammar Belal was caught rehearsing on the stage with kids. All eyes were on
him during that candid moment. The opening designer for the second
day was Akif Mahmood, showcasing a collection of offwhite, yellow and
black hues! Cybil opened the show, wearing a collection with many motifs and a
lot of colors mixed together. All the models were wearing dark eye shades and
minimal nude beige lip colors; further enhanced by pony tails. Continuing the
rhythm of the show was Nauman Arfeen who showcased his intricate designs
and motifs on sherwanis with police caps! The ramp came to life even more with
Chori Chori in Misha Shafi's voice playing in the background.
Nauman Arfeen was replaced by
everybody's favourite Asifa and Nabeel. Their collection was a beautiful mix of
off white, burnt yellow and rust, on flowy dresses for women. The men were seen
wearing traditional kurtas in offwhite, with chooridaar pyjamas. Ammar
Belal was the next to follow, showcasing the true summer spirit. His
brilliant and absolutely trendy line comprising of school and college themes ended
with him walking on the ramp with his mom, and was later joined by Amina Haq
sharing his joy with him. The show ended as children handed out white roses to
the audience sitting in the first row. Zonia Anwaar followed soon; her
collection displaying flamboyant
colors and bright tones. Hers was an aesthetically appealing line
that was loved by the audience. The highlight of Fahad Hussayn's collection was
coats with chooridars for men.
Khawar Riaz was the key make up
artist for the day. His fashion tip centred on darker eye tones,
smudgy makeup with lighter tones for the lips!
