Description :

Packed full of Certified Organic Rosewater, Witch Hazel Extract and Grapefruit Seed Extract, Adorn's toxic free, Skin Primer is particularly great for those who have dry skin or even an oily complexion as it allows foundation to disperse evenly. Your make-up will also last longer when using Adorn's primer and a moisturiser unnecessary for most skin types.

Application :

Using either Adorn's Vegan Liquid Foundation brush or clean finger tips, apply a small amount of primer over the entire face, wait for it to absorb into the skin, then apply foundation

MY THOUGHTS ABOUT IT :

Its my second makeup primer.Before Adorn , I was using FX Cosmetics Retexturising Face Primer ( read my review HERE ) . After reading some very good reviews about Adorn FOUNDATION BASE SKIN PRIMER , I was so excited give it a try.

I just love the packaging . It comes in a very classy and elegant twist and pump airless dispencer giving you the complete control over how much product you want.Leaving any chance of wasting this expensive product.

It gives me quite a dewy finish ( which was the trend for this winter season ) .Apart from that my skin is oily but as I am having some pregnancy hormones which are changing my skin on regular basis , IT works for me superly. It helps me getting that dewy finish look without appearing dry or cakey in winters. I am using it for quite some timw now and I am really impressed with its quality.

I use to apply a very small amount of it before applying my foundation or a compact powder and I have to admit, it does the job pretty well and it does make my foundation lasts longer. Another important thing I have noticed is that it makes my foundation application very easy and it didn't break me out at all.

To tell you the truth , after using it I can truly say that now I prefer using Adorn FOUNDATION BASE SKIN PRIMER over my FX FX Cosmetics Retexturising Face Primer , specially during winter season.

Application :

Ensure your primer has absorbed first, then apply foundation. Two pumps of foundation is usually sufficient - apply using clean fingertips, liquid foundation brush or a sponge.

TIP: Find your foundation shade by applying a small amount along your jaw line in the cooler months and decollatage in the warmer months; if it blends and there’s no obvious lines, then it’s a perfect match!

MY THOUGHTS ABOUT IT :

Again I am quite impressed by its packaging. As it comes in a very convenient twist and pump, airless dispenser that reduces spillage and waste.

After testing it on my hands , it first looks like one tone darker then my skin tone . And my face is somehow fairer then my hands. SO , my face did look muddy after applying it which was a big disaapointment. But as my mentioned earlier , my skin color and texture is continuously changing -thanks to my pregnancy hormones . To a great surprise , when I try it again just few weeks ago , it was aperfect match . But I must say that it gives me a very matte finish ( in my view more dull looking )and I have to apply some light color face powder and some good shimmery blushers to overcome that . However , If you apply it with Adorn minneral cosmetics FOUNDATION BASE SKIN PRIMER you can balnce its matteness and get a perfect look.

It gives you a very light to medum coverage and I recommened not to try to build ot as it can leave you looking very dull and muddy.

It applies moothly on my face and the consistency is also not runny . You can easily apply it with Sigma F80 brush ( review HERE ) . As it will give you that air brush finish.

This foundation can lasts for no longer more then three hrs ( at least for me ) . And it comes in very limited shades.

Yes , if you are looking for matte finish foundation that can lasts for more then three hrs.
