My Thoughts About Atiqa Odho Cosmetics Contouring Powder:

My first experience with the brand Atiqa Odho Cosmetics was when I was studying and I bought an amazing nude brown lipstick shade from their launch ceremony . My Mom loved the color so much that I had to give it to her.

Today I am reviewing Atiqa Odho Cosmetics Blush Ons in shade Dove ,Cockatoo , Falcon , Robin.

I like the sturdy plastic packaging of Atiqa Odho Cosmetics Contouring Powder . Large sized plastic pots ( as compared to their blush ons and eyes shadow pots ) containing the product in top container and a mirror and a sponge applicator in lower one is actually very user and travel friendly . But , a sponge for contouring ? Not a good idea i guess . For compacts its perfect .

As I mentioned in my earlier post ( Blush ons , eye shadows ) , unfortunately I dropped the pots(whole package) twice before even opening them and some of the products are broken . But still they are pigmented and usable as you can see from the above swatches .

I wanted to fix them before testing them but then i hesitated as the formula can be disturbed ( this is the main reason for my delayed review ) So , I decided to swatch and review the broken products and I am glad i took this step .

Atiqa Odho Cosmetics Contouring Powder are not as pigmented as their Blush ons , eye shadows  . I find the formula of these a bit chalky too . They are hard to apply and difficult to work with too .

The staying power of almost all the shades is around 4-5 hours but they are hardly noticeable on my NC20-25 skin ( i am getting darker because of an iron intake these days ) .

Atiqa Odho Cosmetics Contouring Powder in Walnut , Chocolate & Coffee almost all look similar to each other . I was confused while swatching them as it was really difficult to find much difference in their shades . I wish they were darker , cool toned and more pigmented so to be the perfect contouring shades for our skin tones .

Walnut looks peachy in the pan but the on hands/face it has no peachy touch . Its more like a subtle highlighter then a contour powder.

Chocolate is more visible on face as compared to walnut and coffee. Though its not as dark as we expect it to be. Its perfect to blend out your contouring shade .

Coffee I wish was more darker then it actually is .  Again it can just add a hint of color to your cheeks if you are above NC 20 .

Cons

  • Difficult to apply
  • Not much pigmented
  • Hardly visible on my NC 20-25 skin tone

Pros :

  • Highly affordable
Would I Recommend ?

I wish they were more pigmented , darker in colour to serve as a contouring powders . Till then , they are a miss for me.

Atiqa Odho Cosmetics Contouring powders comes with a price tag of PKR 300 and are easily available in Pakistan .

  2. You have an amazing AO collection! While these aren't richly pigmented I think they'll be good to work with as a beginner but for fairer complexions. :) x

  4. was about to buy this. As I don't know much about makeup, i thought it would be good to buy this one to learn contouring, but I don't think I should even use it for learning process as you said its difficult to apply.
