My thoughts about it:
I was using Kryolan TV Pain stick from past many many years but this has seriously caught my attention. Well I must say I am very much impressed by this product.
I was looking for some foundation that gives a medium to full coverage without giving the cakey look with a light formula ( I know that’s a long list ) . Specially during summers , when wearing Kryolan TV Pain stick in the afternoon in outdoors is a big NO .
Luscious Foundation Stick claims to be a brightening cream foundation that contains licorice extract for a visibily fairer complesxion. Well I agree to the part that it gives an instant glow to the face. My skin have some acne problem in summers ( or if I am lucky , in winters as well ;) ) or I do have some breakouts on an off so this stick does its best and gives full coverage. Apart from giving medium-full coverage Luscious Foundation stick feels very light on the skin specially if we compared it to Kryolan TV Pain stick which feels heavy on the skin.
Luscious Foundation stick can give you that cakey look if only you don’t choose a proper color for your skin or applied too much. You just need to build it up slowly on your face and the formula is so light that it can give from light-medium and then medium- full coverage without giving that cakey look . But again you need to build it up slowly.
The texture is no doubt very light bit its kind of dry as well . Its not creamy like Kryolan TV Pain sticks. So , its better to apply it with your fingers so it gently spreads and melts on skin with the warmth of your hands. And its better to apply a little bit of moisturizer before if your skin is dry.
I go for a Shade no Ivory 0 for Luscious Foundation stick and you can compare the color with Kryolan TV Pain stick ( Shade : 1 W ) .
AFTER
Some important points:
- A medium to full coverage, build able and with a very easy to work with creamy texture.
- I do find it DOES last well over 5-8 hours on oily skin ( better to apply some oil control products first ) and more then 10 hrs on dry to normal skin (if applied with a good moisturizer). I did use some makeup primer and my Hollywood Style USA Sunblock SPF 60 as a moisturizer ( as the texture is little dry
- A flawless finish but do set it with powder for best results.
- Application with fingers is preferable but you can apply it with a damp sponge .
- Quite affordable and gives a neat look.
- Shade selection: variety of shades are available so no worries.
Price:
Well its quite surprising that I found Luscious Foundation Stick with a price tag of Pak Rs. 850 ( whereas Kryolan TV Pain stick comes with a price tag of Pak Rs.900) which is easily affordable.
You might like it :
- If you are looking for a foundation having a very light formula.
- You want light-medium and medium-full coverage . You just need to build it up to get your desired look .
- Affordable price.
- Easy to blend and work with.
- Great product for oily skin types. But with some moisturizer it can work well for dry to normal skin types as well.
- You want a foundation that is easy to work with specially if you have no or less time or you are a beginner.
You might not like it:
- If you don’t like its dry texture.
- Your skin is very dry.
Would I recommend it?
Definitely YES, great foundation with such an affordable price.

DeleteI've used it, n was awesome towards the start but now it feels that it dimes my completion after applicaton, any advise for me???

ReplyDeletedear as far as i know , a foundation can only dimes your complexion if its not a perfect match .. may be the actual color of your skin get darker/fairer or get blemishes skin discoloration etc thats why this foundation is not working for u now ... take a color test by applying a swatch of this color n one shade darker and one shade lighter on ur jaw line for the actual match ... do tell me the results...
